About Us

Frank Adams

​

Owner of Xcelerate Sports Development (XSD21), has more than 20 years of experience in personal training with an emphasis in speed development. He has worked with athletes ranging from the beginner to numerous high school and D1 college recruits up to professional athletes, improving and enhancing explosive movement and overall speed.

 

Frank is also head Strength and Sports Performance Coach at Commerce High School located in Commerce Georgia and  former Head  Coach for Need 4 Speed Track Club located in Tucker, Georgia. In his 10 years coaching track he has had multiple athletes to be finalists as well as national champions. He holds the following certifications:

Frank is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has additional certifications in Stretch Therapy and Functional Training.

He currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Psychology from the University of South Carolina.

  • University of South Carolina Gamecock Cornerback: 1989-1993

  • Free Agent for the Pittsburg Steelers in 1994

  • Played in the Canadian League (Toronto): 1995-1997

At Xcelerate Sports Development (XSD21) we specialize in bringing out the full potential in each of our clients. Speed, power and strength is the foundation of every sport from swinging a baseball bat to start of a 100M sprint.  Learning how to run and move efficiently and effectively will help you to out ATHLETE your competition.

Our training includes drills and exercises that improve strength, , speed, and quickness, with an emphasis on EFFICIENCY.

Coordination, balance, spatial awareness, and mobility are also key components of athletic development. The ultimate goal is to build a stronger, quicker, more agile and injury resistant athlete thru teaching proper mechanics and strengthen the body in an approach to build power and speed.
